Welcome to Ingleton Methodist Church (IMC)

Ingleton is well-known for its waterfalls, mountains and caves.  Have a look at the Ingleton website: www.ingleton.co.uk.

IMC is both the oldest and newest chapel in the Circuit.  It was built in 1838, extended in 1884 and renewed in 2005.

The church has a modern style both in building and worship.  A worship group leads the morning congregation of 80 to 100 every week.  The age range is from 0 to 90.  We sing from projected words and the preaching is on set themes with a group of local preachers and others taking part.

The Sunday evening service has a much more intimate feel, and is held in the newly built Steadfast Light room.

We have all sorts of weekday activities including house groups and youth meetings.  The Friday coffee morning is a popular community event.  And you can have a go at one of our famous quizzes!

We are led by a group of Elders, together with the minister.  They are helping us to work out the vision that IMC is God-centred, relationship driven and life transforming.
