Sunday Worship:

2.00 p.m. on 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month

Weekday Activities:

Wesley Guild (monthly from November to April) - Tuesdays at 7.30 p.m.

Rathmell is a small, friendly village off the A65, between Settle and Hellifield.  It is a farming community, although there have been some small new housing developments during the past few years.   As well as the Methodist church, there is an Anglican Church (Holy Trinity), with which we share occasional services and a Reading Room which hosts many village activities.

The Methodist church is the oldest in the Settle Circuit, having been founded in 1763.  For 83 years we had no building of our own, but in 1846 the present chapel was built.  It was altered in 1893, enlarged by the addition of a school-room in 1903 and extensively improved in 2007.  We now have a kitchen area and a disabled toilet.

Our Wesley Guild meets monthly from November to April, with a variety of interesting speakers.  All but one of our members live in the community and they are involved in many aspects of its life.

You are most welcome to worship with us.
